MA Chidambaram Stadium formerly known as Chepauk or Madras Cricket Stadium is one of the oldest stadium is India located in Chennai and has a seating capacity of 50,000. The first Test played here was in 1933-34 between Douglas Jardine's England and CK Nayudu's India.
India registered their first Test win at the ground in 1951-52 when they defeated England by an innings and eight runs. This is also the home ground of defending champions Chennai Super Kings.
