2012 CLT20 Schedule - Champions League Twenty20 Fixture, Timetable

Fourth edition of Champions League Twenty20 will start from 13th to 28th October, 2012 with 10 teams. Tournament has started from 9th Octobor with qualifying round for the 2 spots between England, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, New Zealand and West Indies.

10 teams has bee divided into 2 groups with 5 teams each and top 2 teams from each group will qualify for the semi finals followed by Final on 28th October.

2012 CLT20 Groups, Champions League Twenty20 Group Format

2012 Champions League Twenty20 - CLT20, starting from 9 to 28 October in South Africa with 10 teams participating. 4 teams from India, 2 teams from Australia and South Africa have already qualified for the tournament while the remaining 2 spot will be filled by qualifying rounds currently undergoing between 2 teams from England and 1 team Sri Lanka, Pakistan, New Zealand and West Indies.Auckland Aces from New Zealand and England's Yorkshire has been qualified for the 2012 season.

 10 teams has been divided into 2 groups with 5 teams each. Find the Groups with teams.

Mumbai Indinas v Bangalore 2011 CLT20 Final Photo Highlights, Images - Harbhajan Man of the Match

Mumbai Indians won the 2011 Champions League Twenty20, beat Royal Bangalore by 31 runs in the final. Harbhajan Singh got Man of the Match for his 3-20. David Warner of South Wales Blues got the Golden Bat and Lasith Malinga of Mumbai Indians got Golden Wicket of the tournament.

2011 CLT20 Final Result - Mumbai are the new T20 Champions, beat RCB by 31 runs


In a low scoring one sided final of the 2011 CLT20, Mumbai Indians Indians beat title favorite Royal Challengers Bangalore by 31 runs on Sunday, 9th October, 2011 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai. MI made 139 all out in 20 overs and RCB all out on 108 runs in 19.2 overs.

Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat first and lost 2 early wickets but Franklin 41 and Yadav 24 took them to 139 runs on a tough batting condition. In reply Bangalore got a good start with 38 runs in 4 overs but then lost the momentum against tight bowling by Harbhajan Singh who took 3/20 while Abu Nechim and Malinga took 2 wickets each.

Match Summary:

Mumbai Indians - 139 all out in 20 overs (Franklin 41, Yadav 24, Bhatkal 3-21)

Royal Bangalore - 108 all out in 19.2 overs (Dilshan 27, Harbhajan 3-20, Malinga 2-23)

Toss - Mumbai Indians won the toss and elected to bat first.
