2008 Inaugural Champions League Twenty20 Teams Introduction

First Champions League Twenty20 tournament is going to start from Wednesday, 3rd December to 10th December, 2008 in India. Total 8 teams are participating 2 each from India, Australia, South Africa and 1 team each from England and Pakistan winner and runner-ups of their respective Twenty 20 tournament.

CL T20 tournament is similar to football's Champions League and first time introduced in cricket. 8 teams are divided in to two groups of four team each, i.e. Group A and Group B. Top two teams will be qualified foe the semi-finals.
