2011 Champions League Twenty20 - CLT20 consists of 13 teams, 7 already qualifies for the main draw while 6 teams qualifies for the remaining 3 places in the 10 teams tournament. IPL4 winners Chennai Super Kings, runner-up Royal Bangalore and 3rd placed Mumbai Indians are already in the main draw along with inaugural CLT20 winners Australia's New South Wales, and the winner of T20 Big Bash South Australian Redbacks. South Africa's Pro 20 Series winner Cape Cobras are also in the main draw with runner-up Warriors.
Remaining 6 teams has to play in the qualifier to fill the remaining 3 places. 6 teams are divided in to 2 Pools A and B. 4th place in IPL 4, West Indies Champions Trinidad & Tobago, Sri Lanka T20 winner Ruhuna Eleven, New Zealand champion Auckland Aces, Winner of England's T20 Leicestershire Foxes and runner up Somerset are the 6 teams. Top 3 teams will qualify for the main draw.
